Howard High School contains a both culturally and economically diverse population with over three quarters of their graduates enrolling in post-secondary institutions. Their students are encouraged to complete their four-year high school program in creative ways supported by the school including concurrent enrollment, new programs offered at the Applications and Research Lab, and mentorships so that they may acquire knowledge that will offer multiple college and career paths upon graduation. They pride themselves in creating an educational environment that will improve the community and the world at large. Neighborhoods within Long Reach are served by the school.
