For over 50 years, Oakland Mills High School has been serving the local community and allowing students to become distinguished in their academic accomplishments, artistic gifts, and athletic ability. Their support of their students is built upon the core belief of being a place where they are strongest together and being a community where relationships and sense of community mean everything. They promote various school-based programs like art, band, orchestra, choir, dance, drama, STEM, and sports. Neighborhoods within Owen Brown and Oakland Mills feed into this school.
